Not a scam and at no cost to you. I was able to find over $400 owed to me after searching this site... https://www.colorado.gov/treasury/gcp/
Hopefully some other members can find money owed to them also. I'm only asking for a 10% finder's fee [Sarcasm2]

Weird, They have something listed for me, at least the only Tim with my last name and middle initial that I've ever heard of but it's based of Colorado Springs and I've never lived there. Think I should claim it?

They also have a claim for a cousin of mine that died 25 years ago.

Nice, I had looked years ago but nothing.... now there's under $50 for me and over $50 for my dad's estate..... I wonder what that over $50 is. I'll update if it's anything interesting.

I'm on week 18 of waiting for almost $2000 in overpaid workers comp insurance taxes from 2007 and 2008 the state owes me that I discovered on this site. $2000 that I told the state I didn't owe. 18 weeks. The status of my claim on the site is "Received on 04/27/15". Do you think the state would wait 18 weeks or more if I owed it $2000? I can tell you the state is impatient. That's exactly why I had to pay the $2000 in the first place...to avoid paying even more.

Yeah...I'm a little bitter with the state of Colorado for a lot of reasons.

I had money due (under 200) a few years ago from a security deposit on an apartment back in 2000-01. Problem is they wanted something to prove I lived at the address at that time. Yeah where am I'm gonna get that 13 years later.

I looked and found a fair bit of money for my Mom. I asked her to see what she could find to document addresses back to pre-1979. She had utility bills back to the late 60's! Guess I now understand why her basement is such a mess! 'Course now she's strutting around all smug like for keeping all that crap for almost 50 years.

We're meeting today to have the papers notarized and assemble the necessary documents for submission. It'll really make her day if the process actually produces a payout at some point.
