My buddy just got this. He moved about a year ago but I'm not more than 5 minutes from the cross streets listed.


Just got a reverse 911 call and the following email: This is Weld County 911 with an emergency message for Weld County Sheriff's Office. There is police activity in the Arbor Dr and 29th Avenue area. Please stay in the low part of your house. We will notify you when police activity is complete.

I'm guessing it's a hostage situation. I'll let you know if rounds start coming through the house.

We had received reverse 911 from Boulder Co. "There is an armed and dangerous suspect in the area".
What area? I pity the suspect if he is in my neighborhood. Turns out he never left the front range.

Apparently Weld County SO was serving a warrant. No new holes in the house.

I can't imagine they would do a reverse 911 call every time they serve a warrant right? Must have been a really bad person.

We've had it happen a couple times. Apparently if they think it could go sideways then they make the reverse 911 call. I'd rather get the call than not.

So, the bad guy they are after also gets the reverse 911 call too ?
