I'm more concerned about how these affect trigger movement and feel rather than the pins walking out of the reciever. Are these worth the $? Trigger group being used is a Geissele.

I thought Geissele does NOT recommend KNS/anti walk pins with their trigger groups.

I don't remember seeing anything specific about it from Geissele. I'll check into it.

I have KNS pins on 3 AR's with Timney triggers and think they worth the money.

I check into the compatibility of KNS pins with Geissele triggers and I could only find that there were problems with their High Speed National Match triggers stemming from the hammer pin being retained by a c-clip and people crushing them. That's what I've read.

That's hard to believe even. I have a bunch of rifles with KNS pins, and there is considerable play laterally. Not sure how they could be tightened beyond the pin width to crush a c clip.

KNS is GTG.
I see them used in some items that are rode very hard and with high round counts. The FCG wears out before the pins.

The KNS pins are .001 undersize compared to the Geissele pins. That is why Geissele says no.

That said, I use them despite running Geissele triggers.

I notice some grittiness during the first stage of the trigger pull. Now I know that there are other factors that can contribute to this feeling, but I can clearly see my trigger pin rotate in the reciever and I'm thinking that could be the culprit.

Hoser-Have you noticed any creep in your triggers with the .001" clearance difference? I'm thinking no as the tolerances are removed due to spring pressure. I'm assuming here, but I'd appreciate your input.

Not that you asked me...

I don't run geiselle, all timney here, but zero difference with KNS for me. Granted the timney is a self contained trigger pack, not individual components, so YMMV.

Any response that contributes positively is very much appreciated J! I have a CMC self contained set in another rifle too. The pins were an interference fit with the reciever so there was zero clearance. I wouldn't think KNS pins would change the feel either. I think I'll just have to try a set and see. If it doesn't solve/fix the issue, I could keep it on or sell it.
