It is painful to watch but quite appropriate.

I love mine. They are as much my family as any biped ever could be. The dogs in my life have given me more than I could ever give back to them. It doesn't stop me from trying to be worthy of what they do for me.

Talking about dogs is better than talking about the lousy state of politics, cops being shot, black lives matter, Hillary, Trump, global warming or any number of other things in the news today. To me, anyway.

ETA: And just FYI... This is a production video with a message. It's not a "real life" tragedy type thing where something awful happens to a dog.

It is sad people do that to their pets. I have a dog who's been abandoned 3 times. She is the best dog I've ever had. She just needed someone to care. And my Daschhund was a stray. He's a great dog too.
