New to reloading.

Hi all,
I had some reloading questions. I'm looking to reload 7.5 Swiss to get a little more bang for my buck, pun intended. But first, since online information can be conflicting, a couple of questions before I go and invest a good chunk of money into it.

What kind of press would you recommend to a beginning reloader? I don't plan on loading a super high volume at any one time.

Would full sizing dies or neck sizing dies be best? I'm honestly a bit fuzzy on the difference.

Those are my two main questions, any further advice or tips is greatly appreciated though.

Single stage press is a good start, RCBS ROCK CHUCKER is something you can use forever, and there is some kind of package deal.............but many other brands are as good............Competitive shooters will full length resize, which means the die resizes the entire length of the cartridge case, just better for AR-15 service rifle and other competitive semi auto shooting..... But it does work the entire length of the brass, so trimming will be needed........less number of reloads out of FL resizing.

Neck Sizing merely resizes the neck, and mostly hunters and bolt gun users are going to neck size only.......squeezes the neck down in order to hold the next bullet........ Not as hard on the case, and if used in the same bolt gun, can work fine.......

A single stage press immediately comes to mind for simplicity and cost effectiveness. But, if you think you may want to reload pistol ammo, skip the single stage and get a Dillon 550B. IMO, this machine is more than what the average person will need. As far as neck sizing or full length sizing does, I guess it's really down to what you're trying to accomplish. I've heard accuracy nuts like the neck sizers, but I've also had 6mm PPC benchrest shooters say they get the same performance from full length sizing dies. Dunno

The only use for neck sizing is if ALL the brass you reload has been fired last in YOUR rifle.

If your sure your going to do it long term, buy once, cry once. If you want to dip your toe in the water and see if you like it, buy a lee classic kit, they are cheap and effective. if you end up getting serious , you can upgrade. If you get bored you won't have much into it.

buy the lee (or other) die kit with both sizing dies. That way you can resize acquired brass as well as neck size your brass. Neck sizing is nice for a number of reasons.
