I was looking into this but couldn't think of anywhere local that would give me even a halfway decent trade-in on my old LC9....looked into selling it a while back and could not get an offer higher than $100...for that price, figured I might as well just keep it.......

The new striker fire has to be better than the double action travel monster of the first model. But I think even with a better trigger I would prefer the shield 9mm. I have the shield and it's my go to CCW in the summer.
