View Full Version : Anyone have a rental between South Denver and Castle Rock?
Looks like we're going to have to terminate the contract on the house we're trying to buy (seller will not fix the septic system) and now we need a place to live.
If anyone has a place that they would like to rent for 3 - 6 months in a safe neighborhood, we're looking. We have 3 kids (1, 9, 12), 2 dogs and 2 cats. All pets are well behaved (I know everyone says that but we'll back it up with a large deposit). We probably won't even move much furniture in, since we'll be looking for a new place immediately (we will still pay off any agreed contract terms).
Pretty flexible on rent but we'd like to keep it under $5K per month.

Check with MED, I think he has one that has opened up..........

I guess that one wouldn't require much of a deposit if he hasn't had a chance to referb it yet. ;-)

A good landlord is always willing to work with tenants, who do repairs on the property ;)

My house is spoken for; I am buried in projects but making good progress.
We don't personally have a house for rent, but there seems to be several rentals in the Acres Green/Lone Tree area.

Thanks Grey, I'll check those out. Last time we had an extremely hard time finding someone to rent to us with the dogs and cats, even offering a $10K security deposit wouldn't sway the landlords that said they allowed pets.
We're actually going to meet face to face with the sellers today and see if we can pull something off, when did buying and selling houses become so difficult. In 20 years I've never had a contract on either side fall through and we're on contracts 5 & 6 with this move.
With what your willing to pay for rent it shouldn't be an issue finding a place. However, I can see why why you want to get the place you had your eyes on. 5k a month for 3 to 6 months! Holy cow that's alot, but I'm a poor and just out of college.

All PMs replied to and updated on the status. For now we're back on and we're going to keep our mouths shut until after closing. ;-) We really don't want to lose this house over a couple $K so we're going to let them deal with the septic side with the understanding that they need to have a Use Permit for us by closing.
Thanks again for all the help.
Mazin, you're back on deck. :)
I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for you! :)

Getting ready for the second move in under 8 weeks is kind of like saying "please kick me in the nads a few more times". Good luck with the place bro, I can defiantly relate to your stress.
