I thought this thread was going to be about the knock out slugs from metal electrical boxes.
We used to save them up in a cup in the work truck, then when we cruised by the old Denver rescue mission, we would grab a hand full and shout out to the bums "here's a little something for you" and toss them in their direction making sure that the slugs landed well short of the curb.
You should have seen them scramble into the street to pick up the slugs.......

The Nickel Rings look cool. Isn't Nickel the metal a little toxic to be wearing against your skin for a long period of time?

I actually do Hobo Nickels/Quarters/Pennies, etc... from time to time for practice. I also went through a 90% silver quarter ring-making phase, too.

Well it would be appropriate I suppose. Nickel, toxic, ring, dead.

Silver is a bit more malleable I would think that would work much better.

I never took pictures as I didn't think there would be any interest.

$20-$150 from when I looked on ebay. Most of them weren't near the quality of that one though.

I watched the process and the skull is cut out of the nickel then soldered to a ring. The one we have all been looking at runs for $280.

I've got some 1oz copper replicas kicking around here somewhere - I keep meaning to to do something with them & experiment with antiquing. You'll be first on my list if you're interested.

I didn't mean to disparage the product - it's cool as hell. Dude is very, very talented.

I'd go $280 if there was an Indian head on one side and a buffalo on the other.
