Whenever I'm not sure which way to vote in an election, I anxiously await the Colorado Springs Independent's endorsements.

In general if you do the opposite of their recommendations you're probably making the right decision.
Wasn't sure who to vote for in the D11 School race ... now I know it's Dan Ajamian, Karla Heard-Price and Jeff Kemp
Of course I'm only voting "No" on 2C, 2D and BB because "Fuck You" isn't an option (but I already knew how I was voting on those before the Indy article).
So a hearty "Thank You (and Fuck You)" to the Colorado Springs Independent [Muaha]

Anyone who votes to allow the state to keep ANY monies is a .............................Melon Ball user.
But it says Yes on BB is a 'No Brainer'. [Sarcasm2]

I really agree with Zundfolge's approach and have used it often in the past. If you can't find a source who gets it reliably right all the time, find a source who gets it reliably wrong all the time and do the opposite. Totally agree.

So what sources do you guys outside of The Springs use like this? I assume the Denver Post and Boulder Daily Camera are pretty reliably wrong, but are they as bad as the Indy?
I hate the Indy. I do read the opinion page every now and then to get a chuckle. What a bunch of douche bags.

What's funny is they run the advice pages by Amy Alkon. She is hardcore libertarian and doesn't take crap from idiots. I love reading her Facebook page.

The Indy - no brains required? No - no brains ALLOWED.
Here's the thing I don't get, but on every ballot for The Springs, they always ask to retain surplus for parks and rec maintenance.
Is there something keeping them from using the surplus to fill potholes or do stormwater mitigation?

If they ear marked the money for filling potholes and stormwater mitigation then they'd actually have to fill some potholes and dig some ditches. As it is "parks and recreation maintenance" (which is already budgeted for) is a dark hole they can throw money and nobody will actually know where it really went.
