Nice job, I was too busy this year to do anything, one lone pumpkin on the front porch this year.

Remember it's the tool behind the tool, that causes problems.
I've seen more Hell-o-ween decorations this year than Christmas last year. Our neighbors did it up . Hopefully i'll remember to get a pic tomorrow evening. Unless i smother the 30+ kids expected to be there for a party.
Unbeknownst to their parents, we're handing out red bull and monster minis. Hey kid you like a chocolate bar to chase that drink down with. [LOL]

Our kids family and a couple other families are doing a neighborhood haunted house together for "trick or treaters" to go through as they canvas the hood for treats.
I will post up the address later for those who might be in same or nearby neighborhoods.

I used to enjoy Halloween but lately it seems to me it's being pushed as a replacement for Christmas anymore.
I was really annoyed at the uncostumed dad who held out his own candy bucket after getting a good helping for his daughter in the bee costume. Even more so when he came back around a second time and his daughter was sleeping in the stroller so it was just him -- and he still held out the candy bucket when I pointed out, "haven't I seen you before?" I don't think he even lives in the neighborhood ...
Next year I'm tossing flour in my hair, some charcoal on the face (because I can't grow real grizzle to save my life) and sit out on the porch with a fake can of beer and fake M-1 yelling, "get off my lawn!"

I am all about Halloween, in more ways than one.
HOWEVER, when I see kids in their late teens trick or treating when they should be at a party trying to get laid, my blood boils.
Therefore, there is no trick or treating at my home, the wife goes to her mother's home anyways to give out candies with her, a mother-daughter kind of thing they always did together.
