I saw this today, and while I'm sure it was not one of our members, it happened this past dove season. I passed four signs that had been blasted. The division of parks and wildlife and the department of reclamation are working on a use plan for the Res. As an avid hunter and mountain biker I have been to these meetings and the fact is, it is easier for the park rangers to ban hunters than it is to repair/replace trail markers.
The cyclists and trail runners love to use these acts of vandalism as a way to get hunters kicked out.
If anyone hears someone bragging about how they shot the signs, or if you see any hunters damaging trail markers, take their shotgun from them, and in the most polite way possible, shove it up their ass. (sorry for the sideways picture, my phone likes to do that).
