What is it limitations?

What can you not make/do with it?

Any limits on what mold you can make with it?

I have done lost wax with gold, silver, and a junk pot metal. Your limits are based on your equipment. It works best if you have a centerfuge but it isn't necessary.

Pm me if you have specific questions. I can walk you thru the process.

Used that method when I took silversmith classes and we had a centrifuge so I was impressed.

I use to work at a casting plant as Q.C. back in NY.
We made lots of goodies. M14 receivers, pistol frames, rail mounts and sights just to mention a few without divulging name brands.
And then we made big industrial parts as well. My wife knows more about the wax end of the production and how all that worked - she worked there as well.

I guess the limitations would be the intricacy of the part. A lot of little nooks and crannies would be hard to make a mold for. I've seen some molds they make in 2 to 3 pieces with plug holes so the metal has somewhere to go

I used it with wax/sand. Not rocket science. Needs practice.
