We had a little presentation here at work that was sparsely attended, it was presented by VERG (Veterans Employees Resource Group). They had a Vietnam veteran speak and I enjoyed it.

I'm still in the fight and haven't given up yet, but I do feel that combined with the gratitude I feel for those that have served I do feel some shame that myself and the rest of the right thinking people of this country have not lived up to their sacrifice ... and mostly out of apathy and laziness.
