You can do the same yourself with just additional endcaps for your SDTactical solvent trap.
Except for the handgun booster of course.
That's pretty neat. Especially for the guy who can't afford 20 different cans.
Seems like it's more useful for rifles than pistols.

Their can is set up do everything with a separate attachment adapter host. Think of the bottom half like accessories for a mixer or food processor. All the accessories get used on the mixer or FP main body.
This can, the baffles are contained in the main housing, just as your mixer or FP is a stand alone device, waiting for accessories to determine what task it's used for.

Hell my BYO can does the same thing, when i use the same muzzle brake one different guns.
Not as quiet on the 22 as theirs is.
But i'm just a hobbyist, not a suppressor mfg with hundreds of thousands of dollars in R&D, machinery, advertising, accessories and sales people.

They have adapters so you can use boosters on sd tactical tubes. Kind of expensive but they have them. The whole thing with replacing endcaps and adapters on F1 cans is tricky. If they retain the baffles you legally can't change them or have spares. I guess if you had something else holding the baffles in it might be kosher but even that is a gray area.

What I see in this can is that the same parts hold the baffles in place, everything else, like GK says, is an accessory to the unit.

I was referring to home brew cans. I'm not sure if a F1 suppressor can really have such features. ATF likes to treat things like extra end caps as unregistered silencer parts when it comes to us little people who don't pay the SOT. Commercial cans are judged using a different rule book.

You could do one out of carbon steel, plug weld the blast chamber baffle / spacer and exit side end cap. This gives you permanently installed baffle stack. Allowing you to change end caps. It can be done with a Ti can, providing you have access to someone that can weld it also.

Nice, wavy flat washer style mono-core. 2-3 hours with mill and program, after turning on lathe.

Permanently installed baffles are just that Permanent. IF one cannot access / remove / change out the baffles, config of in any way. What ever you do for an adapter should not matter. I have 2 factory / commercial cans the baffle stacks are removable, 1 a 22, the other a pistol mono-core. The end caps come off both, the pistol i am able to change the booster to another thread pitch. However one (IMO) must keep the end cap (Exit end) the same diameter, not being able to change that side at all. Which is what the mfg are doing, with no ATF issues.
You could always write the ATF and ask them [LOL]
Anyone have an estimate on price?
