They've raised the ceiling for people who might qualify for MEDICAID. Oh yeah. What was once a X$$$ ceiling is now being raised up $2-400. Depending on household income.
Which is great news for the spouse, as her CoHealthFlop was running approx 40% of her income. NOW she'll only take a 35% hit, maybe. Thankfully the deductible will remain the same $3600 Not including testing, scans, urgent or emergency care.

AND people wonder why the FSA sits on it's collective ass, reaping the benefits those of us who work[ed] paid in to.

I took my first hit to the "Cadillac" plan this year, which was a $4,000 hit for a new line item called coinsurance. I am sure it will be worse next year. If that socialized medicine initiative passes next year, we are all fucked!

The plan was never to work. It was to make such a mess of private insurance that we would all throw up our hands and beg for Gov health care for everyone. The insurance companies are all for this they will be the regional regulators of federal dollars and claims processing for well placed political contributions. Another Dem money laundry scheme just like public/private unions.
