the article is too long to cut and paste into the thread, but is a pretty interesting insight into ISIS, and if it has anything to do with islam

No need to read. This is the synopsis:
"Those who would not conform to this view should be killed, their wives and daughters violated, and their possessions confiscated."
-- Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhab (the founder of Wahhabism) e.g. the roots of ISIS/ISIL/Daesh. This is what is taught today. This is what they believe in.
Come and get it!
Won't happen until the complicit democrats have completed there part of the mission to confiscate our guns.

UNTIL they convene another Constitutional Convention, ain't happening. Maybe in urban centers of democratic control. In general, not happening.
ANYONE with a basic knowledge of fabrication could make almost anything, with the right tools. From 22 lr zip guns to single shot shotguns, it's not rocket science to do what's needed in times of hardship. OR so i heard.

Necessity is the mother of invention.
There isn't a Constitution to convene on anymore, the (D) and RINOs have gutted it.

I don't like the idea of a single shot. I think I will invest in dive equipment to search for all the boating accidents.

I hear this a lot.
Serious question: If good people are unwilling to use the guns before confiscation by bad people (and associates) who openly declare their lust for genocide, in what fantasy do good people build guns and use them?
But I'm not advocating guns be used at all. If the good people stopped funding this now (no work, no taxes, no bills, nothing, nada) it ends in six months. Still, the good people are unwilling to do that.

I think Churchill is right and he's not talking about "The Americans" as a government, he's talking about us as a people ... as a culture.
We will not do the right thing until our backs are against the wall ... once the people are at that point its going to suck for the left.

Listened to Obama's press conference this morning and it was sad just how thick he was. You would think even someone as dense and ideological as he is would get the message when even the left-wing press is asking him repeatedly how his tepid response to ISIS would change, how he's going to guarantee the safety of Americans by importing military-age males from Syria, etc. Any one of the Republican candidates would be a better commander-in-chief than any of the morons running as a Democrat (or the ones waiting in the wings) but I hope to God that whoever wins makes Allen West the SecDef or National Security Adviser. Better yet, make him Secretary of State so he can repeat his blog entries to the faces of the supercilious anti-American a-holes at the UN (and State Department).

I can save everyone a bunch of time on reading that article by answering the question it's title poses: What ISIS Really Wants? A Global Caliphate. Every man, woman, child subservient to their rule. Islam means "To Submit" and that's what they want. Convert, die or live under their law while paying a non-Muslim tax. And it's coming here in the form of the Syrian Refugees. Interesting connotation I heard this morning: You get 10 apples, 2 are poisoned. Do you eat them? That's exactly what we're doing here.

I still don't see why it wouldn't have been better to set up a safe zone in Syria protected by the US and NATO where the Syrian refugees could have stayed IN SYRIA with both ISIS and Assad told to keep the hell out or we will empty our ordnance bunkers on them. Good chance to cycle out all that "expiring ammunition" [facepalm]while containing the danger of all those military-age males who are apparently well enough to travel to other countries while not being able to protect their own people.
^^^Shouldn't we be arming and training Syrians to kill each other at home in the name of stopping the spread of radical Islam. How does allowing military age men from Syria who appose radical Islam to walk away make this a better world? The people who actually live there will have a much better chance of stopping tyrannical lunatics from inside there own country. How will it ever work when we have to send in U.S. boots a year or two from now when radical Islam owns the entire country because anyone opposing them is gone.
The only way I see this working is if after everyone who opposes radical Islam is gone we turn the entire country to glass.
