Do you carry a EDC bag? Does it have a lot of little loose trinkets? How do you keep it all organized without the charge cables and ear buds from tangling?

I use to keep my ear buds and my charge cable in a altoids tin, but honestly those altoids tins are just tiny.

I found a system called Grid It from Cocoon Innovations. Its basically a board of woven elastic bands that have rubber anti slip teeth that holds everything you want. On the back is a zippered section for you to store docs or anything slim. You can get different sizes and some are designed into a pouch system for your tablet, mini laptops, etc.

Here is a pic of mine, its still new but it gives you an idea of its endless uses.

Figure I'd share it with the group, its cleaned up my bag significantly.

Good idea. I would make one if needed.

My leatherman goes in my pocket so I don't have to grab a purse when I need it.

No backup mags?

That's the only way Jack Bauer could pull off the man purse...

I carry an EDC bag but don't have many things floating around in it without some sort of organization. The Grid-It is very cool though.

Yeah. Right. For your "brother-in-law". uh-huh.

I think we can all read between the lines on that one.

Zip-loc bags. Not only do they help you organize your cables and bag contents, they ensure you have plastic bags available to hold food or water, protect electronics, etc. Oh yeah, and no man-purse implications.

So you just carry zip-locs around in your pockets full of stuff?
