This is my last hope to find someone who can help. I have a friend who was just diagnosed with colon cancer at age 32. His girlfriend is one of my best friends. Feeling helpless in Colorado I wanted to help her somehow. She won't leave the hospital to go get a real meal so I figured I'd order her lunch. She really wants Qdoba but since they don't deliver I'm trying to find someone who can take maybe 30 min out of their day to pick up lunch and drop it off. I will pay for everything and throw in extra cash for the trouble.

I know this is absolutely ridiculous. But I can't imagine what they are going through.

Google maps puts the closest qdoba 3 miles away from Chandler Regional Hospital.

Any help or addition ideas would be great. Thanks everyone.

It's not ridiculous, it's from the heart.
Try calling the QDoba and explain the situation. Talk directly to the manager. You might be surprised.
The hospital may have a counselor that may be able to assist as well.
Next step you may check if there is a cancer hospice nearby, again- you might be surprised.

Best of luck and best wishes to your people down there.

Call the main switchboard and tell them the issue. They may know who to contact, as it's not the first time this may have happened.

Oh Yeah. Major Kudos to you for doing this.

Grubhub?
Taskrabbit may be able to help out too.

I bet if you posted this on Craigslist you would get a lot of offers.

or call qdoba and see if you can pay a worker on their lunch break an extra $10 to go deliver to them

Try Craigslist and such. I'll be in Phoenix/Casa Grande on Monday through Wednesday evening for work and could potentially do it. I'm not certain how much free time I'll have through

Don't know the area either but I know Chandler is between Phoenix and Casa Grande. I'll have a rental car.

Maybe an Uber driver could do it

In denver there are services that will go to restaurants and get what you want and deliver it. Might be worth some googling to see of there's such a thing down there--even if it is for qdoba

Looks like the phone number for that qdoba is (866) 526-2208. And I'll bet the cost of the meal that they'd send someone over with the meal if you call and talk to a manager about the situation.

Call any taxi service, most will do it.

I'm actually going to Chandler this weekend with my wife for a few days. My in-laws have a house down there and we are going to take a much needed break. I will be there Sunday-Tuesday, let me know if I can help...

Task rabbit sound good. I've got someone scheduled. Thanks everyone. Mackbamf. I might contact you if she still doesn't have family there.

Sorry about your friend and good for you.
Cancer is such a bitch. I was diagnosed at 32 myself, so uber props from me as well.
Having watched my wife, it is harder to be the caregiver in many ways. :(
