I did some load development today for my LMT MWS 20" 6.5 Creedmoor barrel. I was curious as to opinions as to my final result. Am I missing the pressure signs with this rifle, are small ejector marks (double ejector on LMT) common with large frame gas guns? There are no brass curls that can be felt. Hodgon shows max charge is 40.2 grains of Varget. This load was virgin Hornady brass, GM210M Primers, 120 grain Lapua Scenar-L projectiles, 2.1905 COL with Comparator (still have some length before I am at magazine max) and charges from 38.4 to 40.5 (in 3/10th increments). I think there are definitely two distinct nodes from 38.3-39.0 and 39.6-40.5. Should I have gone another 3/10th to 40.8? I did not have my Magnetospeed hooked up for any of these shots, but did test 39.0 last time and was right around 2810 FPS.

More of the brass.

Did you fire all shots at a particular charge weight in a single group, or did you fire one shot at each weight, then move to the next?

Round robin, one at each charge weight for all 8 charges (5x). 1.5 minutes in between each round.

Hopefully these are a little bit better in natural light.

I don't see more cratering at 40.5 than any others. I am not an expert. Any other indications of pressure?

No, just very light ejector marks. But those seem to be somewhat visible on the lighter loads too.
