Why no American Flag backgrounds on FB?

While I deride the hollow sympathy expressed by using a French flag background on one's FB profile, I notice an alarming lack, even amongst the chatter classes, of solidarity American flag backgrounds being used by shallow, FB users after the massacre in San Bernardino.

Maybe Cali flags, even?

Because Facebook doesn't offer one and slacktivisim requires that one be lazy. Using a photo editor to superimpose Old Glory over some stupid selfie is far too much work.
