Shit that's a good price, so tempting...
I just signed up for the $500 last week.
I just used the link to bump my NRA membership to Life. Already got an email from NRA thanking me, so it appears legit.

Looks like the $300 special has ended.

I just did the easy pay life for $500 for my daughter and I.
IIRC- They had a deal like this a couple months ago, and I went ahead and did it. I think it was around $300, maybe $350. Got a leather jacket out of the deal, too.

Congrats to those of you that took advantage of it. Wish they'd had this kind of thing going on when I did my upgrade but I never heard about them until after I boosted to Life -- then again, I upped mine in tribute to Charlton Heston so timing was important when I did it.

HBAR said it wasn't $300. Curious to find out what the scoop is.

Ironic that they accept paypal as a payment.
the guys on Arfcom said that there was a link left hot from the sandy hook time frame. the NRA never deleted the link so some people followed the link and paid. The NRA said they will honor those purchases made via that link (which is now dead)
Is there a post reference for this?
I have a pending charge against my cc for this.
I paid via paypal and they deducted my money already.
It would be in their best interest to honor it.
They already charged my card.
I'm coming up on 55 so "life" isn't that much longer given family history.
I just renewed for 3 years in July and paid $75 as I recall.
I'm 99% certain our club no longer requires NRA membership for existing members.
If it comes down to it, they'll have to decide if they want the extra $300 or not, because I doubt I will ever renew if they renege on the offer.
Perhaps I'll go against my better judgement and send the money to NAGR instead?
(that ought to set them off)

The $300 deal expired 2 days ago. I called , told them Sorry $500 is not even in my budget. Like calling cable i said no 2-3x and finally received said pricing. I explained the NRA could keep me, now at a lifetime member or not.
I don't know why it worked for me? Paypal is how I paid just in case, and they said in there conformation I have 180 days to dispute any charge. Below is a copy of the letter sent by the NRA.

See my membership was finally upgraded to Life online.
I'd have saved a bundle if I'd just gone for life-member 30 years ago instead of re-upping every year.
