My niece has lived up here since summer 2011 and Still can't get in-state tuition. I keep telling her, when they ask for money, say 'no habla'.

I totally disagree with the in state tuition for "undocumented students". How the hell someone is permitted to even gain entry into a school without documentation proving identity, citizenship or a visa is beyond me.

Just register and don't show your driver's license, birth certificate, etc. Poof you are now "undocumented"

Attended graduation ceremony for my second son. The fact that school prez made such a big deal out of this pissed me off even more. Oh well, last child who will ever go to that school ... Still mad we didn't push him more to transfer and finish at UCD.

And yet a veteran who has served their country with honor has to pay "Out of State" if they seek education in a different state.
To me that is wrong, if they served, they served on behalf of the entire nation, States should be thankful for their service.
