Caution with Damage Factory... they repeatedly run ads on the net for out of stock items that they do not plan on getting back in at the advertised price!!!!!!!!! http://www.armslist.com/posts/4625226/denver-colorado-magazines-for-sale--xds-45-acp-5rd---7rd-magazines <<<<<<They do not exist!!!!!! Now they changed the ad after a facebook critique....

How do you know that they don't plan on stocking these items at the advertised price?

Some of us have known these guys for a while now. Intentional dishonesty doesn't fit their profile. Possibly it was a mistake on their part?

Either way, sorry you had an unpleasant experience.

They told me the items were one time special deals from their vendor and no more at that price.

The next week they run the same ad and when at the store they said "oh, someone just bought them all".

The next week they run the same ad and when called they said someone that morning put them all on hold...

Don't mind mistakes but don't trust folks that will lie to your face... coulda just said they accidently re-ran the ad, repeatedly...

Too bad...otherwise had a couple of good transactions with them...

Hmmm, I bought parts from the "future" damage factory during the height of the 2013 craze. I bought them at very reasonable prices in spite of the fact that the market was supporting much higher prices. I would be very surprised to see them intentionally using bait and switch tactics. That is all.

I am sure they were just reposting ads without taking a good look at them.

They could have just said that instead of trying to save face.

And... have had good transactions with them except for a few lies.

You should PM chunkymonkey and discuss this with him. OR rant on and accomplish nothing , other boosting your post count.

Did you ask what the price would have been if you ordered the mags?

I know they've been swamped with the latest events. Like above posts I don't think they are intentionally doing this.

I've gotten some awesome deals from them, so I'm surprised to see this

Brian,

As far as the new same ad being reposted, the Premium armlist account automatically bumps our ads every 4 days. Are we behind on updating them? Yes, we are Guilty. Things have been real busy, no doubt. Do we have room to improve ourselves? heck yeah. Can we keep things in stock all the time? most likely not. We are about to move to a much larger retail, and we have been going through growing pain moment.

Sorry this really ticks you off. You can inbox me if you have further questions. Thanks for the feedback.

Ken

I have had a few transactions with them recently, some from suggestions by them, others were my own. No complaints with the couple of guys I have dealt with there.

My first initial purchase was for an awesome deal on a CMMG MK9 I saw on armslist, grabbed it and when looking on the armslist site later that week, they did have another one listed at a more normal price point. Old ad had been removed, sucks you went through this but I'm confident in saying they didn't do this to you on purpose. I'm not a big investing customer of theirs to where they treat me any differently due to dollar value.

Maybe just contact them, express your concerns and see what you both can agree on for your next purchase?

I don't post that often. But, I had to log in to give another +1 for these guys. They have always been solid with me.

It's been 7 days since the owner replied. What's the update?

IMO IF you post about less than stellar service and a rep of said business reaches out to correct said issue. The least one could do is post an update, yes?

Seems the same B.S as other boards. Someone post "complaining" about service from company X. 1/2 the replies are of the Did you try contacting the company?

Ummm no i haven't.. Then contacts the company and guess what....96-97% of the time the issue was resolved. Go Figure. The other 3-4% is an on going issue with gun or other functioning problem

Comcast and Sig come to mind in that Duh we don't have a problem on our end.

Anyone know if inventory shown on their website in generally accurate?

And what's with 2-6? Talk about making it tough for a dude to sneak out over lunch and go there.

We actually had to shut down the site twice - due to catch up on orders. It has been screwy on smaller dimension ever since. FYI, we are moving into a larger retail location, and will shut down in mid January until February.

I didn't care much for the website anyways. It was always slow to load for me and difficult to navigate.
