Savage Model 10 .308 Mag. Spring

Guessing this is the right place...

I have a Savage Model 10 .308 with an internal 4 round mag. Lately there is a FTF with all rounds. Poking at the follower, the spring feels limp, especially in the rear. Cycling the bolt and it slides right over the next round in the mag. Done some searching but my Google Fu must be week. Looking for an new mag spring.

The more local the better. Please say Ark Tactical, because I'll be there this week.

While I'm making some adjustments, how much more work/money would it take to change to an external mag? This is a bench rifle and a 10 round mag. is not needed but WTH.

Your best bet would be to ask Noah if he can get his hands on one or call savage directly. I would just change it to a detachable magazine kit if I were you, but I'm not a fan of the internal mags.

Ha! BTDT. Talked to Noah on Friday. I have though of going external mag but this is a bench rifle.
