i had a USPS delivery pushing 9pm last night. crammed a package so tight in my mailbox i couldn't get it out. i called amazon and got a refund--told them where they could come get their crap.

I spent 11 years there and let me tell you.. with cyber monday extending to black friday it became madness. Volume projections were so far off every year. They're accurate 2 days prior to the volume hitting a city because of all the technology. But that does nothing for staffing planning. I miss the job, and at the same time I don't.

12 hrs. Every day for the last three weeks. Working Sunday for the first time in nine yrs. Amazon volume jumped 40% this Christmas.

I've noticed that Amazon is shipping with everyone right now. Normally all of my packages arrive via USPS but this past week everything was FedEx. Also, the two day shipping was 3-5 on all orders. I figured they had to be slammed to be busting that many dates.

USPS decided on Dec 1st. that they can't handle the Amazon volume so UPS got it back.

I was at bowers today. They had one set of fde kns pins left. I didn't notice the color and grabbed them. Thankfully rob noticed. I properly chastised Mike for his lack of inventory.

I called and spoke to Mike the other day and that was the only one he had in stock. I was looking for the JJ series in stainless.
