So Armslist is sporting a new look today ... can't decide if I like it or not (leaning toward not but that's because I'm an old fuddy duddy that doesn't like change).
Looks like it might be better for mobile users though. Of course for us desktop users everything is giant and horsey.
I noticed it too. The thing I don't like is that the preview pictures are larger and I can't look at work as easy.

May encourage more people to post pictures.
It will take a little time to adjust to the new look, but it might work.

It doesn't seem to have private party sales?

Ugh, the new layout is hideous!

You can use the filter to see just private sales. With that said I wish they would offer a filter to block certain premium vendors without blocking them all. Here in the Springs armslist shops like Family Firearms completely spam the listings daily with their over priced firearms. Really sucks having to go through pages of their adds daily (over and over).

Do they have a filter for ATF set ups?
Absolute crap. Unable to refine searches. Unable to load the pc page on mobile. I hate mobile sites with a passion.

Yep, noticed that myself.
Hopefully it's just a work in progress and very one will be able to edit, delete, and bump their ads shortly.

Just WTF was wrong with the previous site? I wish they would just leave well enough alone.

I don't use Armlist much but I do like the new layout
It looks gross. Mobile sites are the scourge of the internet. They work way crappier on my phone than regular sites.

Google has a new policy that it will no longer index sites that are not "mobile friendly".

If you add a minus sign in front of a search term it won't show results with that term in it. For example to get rid of Family Firearms listings put "-Maizeland" in the search box since they always put their address in the ads. At least this worked on the old site.

Thank you! I'll try that. So annoying sorting through all of their ads.

LOLZ. WTF does it matter? Google isn't going to return results for any gun friendly site.
Like most software "upgrades" nowadays, it sucks. [facepalm]

Same here.

Yep, saw that and had trouble with it, very slow. Next day it was back to "normal" and working fine.
Glad to see it switched back. I'm all for improving and adapting to the times, but that new format felt just like those digital billboards... I hate those.
