Police funerals are a different kind of special and sad occasion. I agree with the sentiment, I've been to too many. The public showing for Officer Swasey speaks volumes for the people of Colorado Springs. I have almost come to expect that type of community passion given the number of public servants stationed at the various military bases in and around the Springs.

I pray for swift and complete healing for those injured and that they return to duty as soon as they are able. They are needed. We need them.
