How about a Boeing turbine-powered Go-Kart? Yeah...I'd give it a spin.

Whoa! That's awesome. Of course Jay Leno might be first in line lol.
Lots of $ for what would be about a 10hp equivalent? I think I would want a touch more of a frame and maybe a rollbar.

...and some bigger brakes.

This land-jet produces over 300 pounds of thrust which will easily propel you to infinity and beyond.

Cool machine for picking up FOD on the runway. Some lucky wing commander?

power specs look ok, up to 300hp. :)
300 pounds of force, not horsepower. Loosely, in a wheeled vehicle, 300 pound is about 10 horse. You were looking at the general family, not the soecific unit on this gocart.
I would kill the power to weight ratio on that kart.

could be, just reading what was on the wiki. lowest hp output on models listed was 270.
When I was a kid, another punk teen had a yamaha motorcycle engine on a gokart, that thing was scary fast. One hand on wheel, one on the shift lever. Crazy.
We put a two cylinder SkiDoo motor on a go kart with 15" rear wheels.
Big brakes, and a rollbar... Scary fast - in a straight line.

Going to need more thrust for the second one.

Wait, that's not right...
