Anyone have these on their M&P magazines (lawfully installed, of course). Either one better than the other? They both look pretty solid.

I don't see an inherent advantage or disadvantage from one to the other--there may be one that i'm missing.
Good or bad, chime in
I've been running the Taylor Freelance ones without any problems for quite a while now. The plates on the back do a great job keeping the extension from slipping like some cheaper ones did. They only give me 22 (+5) rounds of 9mm, though. Not 23 like they say. Being down one round isn't all bad though because I have no trouble getting that full mag in on a closed slide.
I'm sure the Tarans work great, though. Maybe someone else can give you their real world capacity.

Been looking into the Tarans for my 10 round mags of course. I'll have to check out the Tylor also.

I have about 10 of the TTIs and they've been working really well. They've been dropped on concrete and dirt and the original 3 probably have 3k rounds on each of them with no issues.
The follower will hang up on loading around round 19 the first few times the mag is fully loaded, but the extension will shave a little plastic off and it'll load fine after that.
They work well enough that I'm willing to use them on my duty mags.
I've been running Taran's since 2013 on my Glock mags. The run flawlessly.
I have the Taylor on some P30 mags. They didn't last 2 matches before self destructing.

My 2 cents......
I wasn't at all impressed with the Taylor Freelance's. I needed to grind material off of 3 of the 4 extensions I bought. The spring would hang up on an exposed inner edge of the extension. Paying that much money for an extension, I would expect to have no issues what-so-ever.
I have many Taran Tacticals for my Glock 21 and 17, and quite a few for my M&P. Not ONE single issue with them! Extremely well made and very easy to install/ use.
Hope that helps!
The TTIs are better. Have both since they came out. I get 23 with the TTIs.

Have both, and TTI are better than Tf on my M&Ps. TTI hold one more round in 40, and don't need to be sanded/ground down for smooth loading. TTI don't need tools for dissassembly. Only advantage to the TF is they fit the 9c much better.
