Don't get me wrong, I am no Bill Ruger. I don't think that we can or should concede anything to the anti crowd.
That being said I wonder if there are ways that we shouldn't advertise guns?
For example the new Badger Ordnance M134 Compact rifle (Thread for rifle here: LINK (https://www.ar-15.co/threads/153768-Badger-M134-compact-rifle?p=1948446#post1948446)). The video is really well done, good production values, soundtrack, great teaser for the rifle. I didn't think anything of it until I scrolled down to the comment section.
Wow! Advertising how useful your weapon would be if somebody needed to be murdered. What a brilliant marketing strategy!
I noticed a similar comment on the article that linked me to the video, that one compared it to a suppressor manufacturing making a video of a mob boss being wacked over his plate of spaghetti.
It got me thinking: Are they ways we should and should not advertise firearms/accessories/training? Again not to say that any advertising isn't going to piss off the anti's, but some sensitivity might not hurt?
