So many memorable characters... RIP.
Long live Sir Dr. Hans Lazarus Snape Gruber of Nottingham the Paranoid Sheriff.
EDIT: At least he didn't suffer death by spoon.
I remember him for everything other than Harry Potter. What is a Harry Potter anyway?

One of the best distopian stories of good versus evil ever told.
I was telling the kids today about Rickman's passing and my daughter asked where the funeral was being held. Oh man, what a sweet kid.

Harry Potter is an overrated child's story that had a couple redeeming qualities: 1) it got non-readers to pick up a book and get in the habit of reading and 2) it showed Hollywood that fantasy movies could make serious money.
He is one of my favorite actors. Bough a P7 because I saw it in Diehard. My dad took me well before I was old enough to see R movies on my own. May have even been my first R movie. If you really want to see his range check out Blow Dry. I'm gonna watch Diehard this weekend.

And this has to do with Rickman's passing how?

I just came here to say that "never give up, Never surrender" was Tim Allen's character's (Jason Nesmith) line...
Can we get a moderator to change the thread title to include "By Grabthar's hammer, by the suns of Worvan, you shall be avenged."?
no disrespect intended, but I do abhor celebrity worship.
As a person (not a celebrity), I'm sorry for his suffering and may he Rest in Peace.

I was looking at P7s just a few days ago because of Die Hard. Real shame :(

However Never Give up, Never surrender fits the theme of people dealing with cancer.
