Long Rifle

I think its time to start my long rifle build. I'm thinking maybe in the 308 lapua or possibly the 7.62 maybe even 22lr. Any thoughts on what caliber. I'm leaning towards the 308 Lapua

I could have sworn that when I was looking at 308 online they labeled it 308 lapua. Not to say that the online article had a miss print. But either way I feel the need for a long rifle. Just wish the stores close to me had bare stocks.

Biggest thing you need to decide is: What is long range shooting to you? 600y? 1200y? Decide this, decide you budget and then we can help you.

It would be a long drawn out build for sure. But that's what I did when I built my ar. I would buy parts as I got spair chash. It's what I do

Don't forget to budget for glass and ammo when you are thinking through what you want to build.
