View Full Version : 13 Hours
I have never left a movie theater pissed off before but if this movie is accurate (which it does claim to be) Hillary and Obama and everyone else on watch during this event should pack their shit and go into hiding. They left those Americans swinging in the wind, and then once they knew what really happened, they still tried to blame it on a cartoon and a protest that got out of hand. Now with the release of Hillary's email, she told her daughter that it was not related to a cartoon yet still stuck with the lie and tried to push that crap on the families of the dead. How she is in the race right now is beyond me and a disgrace to this country!
Folks, go watch the movie, if nothing else, it was a great action movie but if this was even close to true, she owns that whole situation. I hope this one stays in the theaters for a long time and then goes to DVD around October.
I dare the American public to watch this movie and vote for Hillary.
The best part was at the end when the lights went on. Couple guys shouted, "This is all on Hillary and Obama" Heard another one say "Hillary for Prison".

Great! I'll probably watch this before I get around to watching the latest Star Wars movie. [Awesom]

Hillary belongs in prison anyway but doubly so for this one. Not only did they leave those Americans out to dry (while receiving HOURS of video footage of the fight), they tried to prosecute and imprison an American citizen on charges they knew to be false and trumped up. Maybe the guy was an ignorant obnoxious dick (maybe not but I'll give it to them for the sake of argument) but if that was a crime, 95% of Obama voters would be in prison.
I figured stuff was leaking out of the Pentagon and NSC very quickly after the event because someone was really pissed about the whole situation. Probably more than one someones. Shame on the mainstream media for not pressing this immediately after it occurred.
The thing that kills me about this is her email to her daughter saying that it was not a cartoon was exposed. She clearly lied to the families since she was still going with the cartoon/protest story after she told Chelsea that it was not a cartoon/protest deal.
Even after that all came to light a few months ago, the media acted like she was vindicated. I hope she wisn the D nomination and the FBI drops an October surprise on her in the form of some handcuffs.
I read the book and was overwhelmed with many emotions, everyone should read it. I was apprehensive about the film due to it being directed by Michael Bay. I've heard enough positive feedback, including from some of the members of the GRS team, to want to see it.
I'm sure just like "Lone Survivor" it's "Hollywooded" up but it's not a documentary so I'll give Bay some slack.
Also 3 of the guys from the security team were on FOX news with Brent Baier back in Sept. '2014. Check it out.

If nothing else, I'll be glad to give them my money, because I would like to see more movies of this nature produced.

Of all of Hillary's evil deeds, perhaps her blackest is making me look forward to a Michael Bay film. [ROFL2]
I honestly had a thought sitting there at the end of the movie to yell out: FUCK HILARY.
I agree I've rarely left a theater pissed after a movie, in this case not at the movie but the people who allowed this to take place.

It sounds like the movie was a great success.
I'm surprised that Michael Bay would get involved with something so political, but then again, he has always readily included plugs for our various military branches. (Transformers example: "but we cannot make a stand without the air force!")
The movie was largely apolitical. Obama and Clinton were not mentioned once. However it did strongly attack and ridicule the government bureaucracy, inefficiency, and waste of assets that were available the night of September 11th through the day of September 12th 2012. I hope justice is done for the memories of Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods. Rest in peace.
The fire fight scenes were excruciatingly painful to watch at times. The cinematography was excellent, the acting good and not overdone. Great movie I highly recommend everyone watching it.
Hands down better than Lone Survivor, and American Sniper.
Been talking to others that have seen this thing and also listening to some of the buzz about it. This movie HAS EXPOSED CLINTON! You can bet it will take many swing votes away from her. I am sure her base and hard core Dems will write this off as the "vast right wing conspiracy" attacking her, but many of those swing voters and indies will catch wind of what actually happened and she is sunk! You watch, this will prompt Elizabeth Warren or Biden to jump in the race, hell if we are lucky, maybe Bloomberg will jump in as an independent and split the vote all up. I do not think they will just let Bernie Sanders have a cake walk to the nomination.
As for Hillary though, if there was ever someone who was criminally negligent in a job, this is it. I am not satisfied with her just not winning a 4 year stay in the oval office, if she does not get some sort of jail time, she is getting off WAAAAY too easy!
On another note, it is pretty clear that our leadership is not learning their lessons here of leaving small forces flapping in the wind. Just a month or so ago in Afghanistan there was a crew of spec ops guys surrounded by the Taliban in a pretty rough gunfight. From I heard they allowed one AC-130 to show up and fire 2 (count them: 2) rounds to try and save the day. I hear leadership was gunshy of any collateral damage but since then, we have not heard anything about what really went down.
Then just last week, we get this story (that sounds like bullshit) about 2 Navy boats that both had MX problems and then got captured by the Iranians. Why on earth do we have 2 freaking speedboats that far away from any heavy military hardware? There should be no reason we have boat like that too far away from a flyby of F18s.
Our military is getting let down at some point on the leadership chain and they need to figure this crap out quick. I know they are drooling all over these F35s but at well over $100MM a piece, maybe we should be investing our money else ware to spread things out a bit and get a better bang for our buck.
A10s and F16s are a little under $20MM a piece. You can get 5 of those for the price of a single F35. If we are going to have Americans spread around the world in every little shithole, we need to be able to protect every one of them or either get them out!

I have never left a movie theater pissed off before...
You must not of seen "The Thin Red Line". Wife and I walked out after about 15 mins of that POS movie.
I haven't yet seen "13 Hours"...but will. Probably piss me off, too.
Just saw this yesterday and wow... Well made, and that says a lot for Michael Bay. I left the theater coming down off an adrenaline rush and very very pissed off at Obummer and Hitlery. Bay specifically avoided pointing fingers at any one person, but did have some great implications that were somewhat subtle. The acting was far better than I expected and the action sequences were really well done. I likened the direction Bay took it as "We already know the story of what happened on this side of the world, with the phone ringing but no one answering; this film tells the story of who was calling and why."
Anyone else see it yet? Thoughts?
I know it'll never get a nod for an Oscar (but then again, who cares, right?), I think it was a story that needed to be told. I have yet to read the book, but I'm thinking that because the survivors had such a big hand in the production and writing that it was told true to what really happened. If you haven't seen it yet, I would say it's well worth paying the cost of admission.

I need to get the book, been told there are things in the book that were not in the movie... by someone who said there were things in the book he already knew, but couldn't share- he was happy but surprised some of those facts made it in the book.

Yes, definitely get the book. As usual, they had to do some compression to make it fit a movie length presentation. I applaud the movie for the simple fact that it is bringing the issue back to the forefront for a lot of people who wouldn't have watched the Congressional hearings or Fox News or read the book. The media elite (like the Washington ComPost) are busy trying to coordinate their attacks with Hillary's campaign or studiously ignoring the film but this film should increase awareness on a vast population who typically don't pay attention to these kinds of things.
And read the book!!! LOL
Gladly!

Glad I'm not the only one who feels that way about "The Thin Red Line" . . . has never been a movie that failed so miserably because it tried so hard to be more than just a movie the whole damn time. Was tedious beyond belief.
Saw 13 Hours Sunday night with the Mrs. Thought it was very well done and very intense. I was wired for hours after we got home--couldn't go to bed til really late. It was highly apolitical other than putting a searing spotlight on how the bureaucracy utterly failed and led to the deaths of those Americans. I highly recommend going to see it. Your heart races during so many spots.

Just finished the book. Will see the movie this weekend.
Saw it last Friday and echoing what's already been said, thoroughly enjoyed and piss ed at the same time.
Great movie, can't believe the leader of our country just stood by and watched. Never been more disappointed, and now she wants to become President how many people would she leave high and dry in 4 years....

I lived in Arkansas during the Clinton governor years. My residence was so close to the governors office, I could walk there in 15 minutes. Now recently somebody has broken the towing mirrors on my old truck. Looks like they did it with a glass punch. Is this a warning for me not to look back? FBI won't even return my calls? Is this nations government so corrupt, that even the leading law enforcement agency is scared?
BARRY SOETORO I AM NOT AFRAID!

Saw it today. Almost brought to tears by my anger towards those that let that happen and those that failed to act once it did happen.
Anyone who even contemplates voting for Hillary Clinton should be shot in the face...at a minimum.

Just saw it last night. Your statement is exactly what I was thinking when I walked out of the theater. Although, those grizzly bastards gave those insurgents what for. True warriors. They dug their heels in and fought like hell. God bless them.
