Does anyone have any personal experience with this group?

They are offering a $49 CCW course... http://gazette.nimbledeals.com/deal/colorado-springs/concealandcarry-course-for-one-or-two-at-active-defense-1?utm_source=subscriber_colorado-springs&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=Colorado+Springs+%2801%2F13%2F2016%29 +%281%29&blastID=1241802&rcpGbsId=129206052

My wife was considering taking a class with them, but I appreciate some feedback from the members here. I tried a search in the forums and nothing came up for ADAT.

Thanks

I have no experience with this company. That being said their Web page doesn't inspire much confidence. I like to know who the instructor will be and what his or her background is. I also like a gear list and list of skills or course objectives. Completely my opinion, and I have been wrong before.

Let me ask what kind of class are you looking for? Is she an experienced shooter and simply needs the law review, or does she need more of the basics? A friend's wife is an instructor who specializes in women shooters.

dan512, I wasn't impressed with their website. Seems to cookie cutter. I prefer to go with local instructors that I can verify their qualifications.

ChadAmberg, she knows the basics and is a pretty good shot. I want to get her some outside instruction to break the husband-instructor bias. We're looking to get her CHP, so that is also a consideration. I thought about Elite Firearms, but I am open to other suggestions.

Here's a link to her next class I think. She just got back from SHOT show.
