Always thought it was goofy having to remove my right hand to work the recharge mechanisms on '15's , so I slotted this one on the left side.
I was expecting some blowback but it seems the combined openings release the burned junk evenly enough that I got zero back in my face. Granted its only 14.5 grains w/ Barnes 62gr VG ...
Right hand never leaves the grip , need to mill down the studs/nuts on the scope mount but overall things work well. I'm glad I did it. Thinking to do the 30 W next.

Pretty cool. What's the idea behind the 6mm projectile over the .30cal Blackout? Ballistic performance probably? If that were the case, wouldn't an entirely different cartridge suit those needs better? Just curious and in no way knocking your build. I think it's pretty sweet.

Between the weight and how its loaded , there is very little recoil , as in zilch, hence the name "squirtgun". Barnes Varmint Grenades at 2300 fps.
Firing it is like airbrushing with lead.
Cheaper projectiles and less powder were my initial reasons for building it. Bullet availability remained constant through the shortage when you couldnt beg , borrow or steal 125 gr 30 cal bullets.
It shoots really well out to 300 yds....something my AR-.45 or 9mmAR arent good at. It also can be loaded subsonic with 115 gr dtacs and makes about half the report of the 30 Whisper when fired through a can , as well as only using 6 grs of powder doing it.
