View Full Version : CCW at Stock Show?
Any CCW changes at the stock show this year? As in years past, I assume CCW ok (no wanding, metal detectors)?
I carried last year just fine. Going tomorrow so I don't know of any changes yet.
Same experience as Irving.
Dress Cowboy Action, and open carry. Hell, even security will assume you're on the payroll.

The smell of weed definitely drowns out the smell of horse and cow crap. We sure have a lovely state.
I was carrying when I took this picture today. Also, there was no weed smell. You couldn't even smell the food on the grill you were standing next to, over the smell of the animals. For $100, you can purchase this bird to hunt by the way.

I believe that's a Golden Pheasant.
Yeah but it's our shit hole Denver.
Not anymore. Now it belongs to the Libtards and potheads.

A friend just inherited a bunch of fly tying parts and pieces. The feather bag was about half Golden Pheasant feathers. The box of goodies was a collection dating back 30+ years.
Going to the stock show next week. The tradition is to start it off with a red eye (bonus points if you know what that is). Always a fun time.

That funny you say that, my Grandpa gave me a bunch of his old fly tying materials years ago which included a bunch of golden pheasant feathers. That's the only reason I know what it is!

I still believe that it belongs to me. And I haven't had a single experience in that city that told me otherwise. Perception is often times equal to possession as we go throughout our days. That whole 9/10ths of the law thing.
Everyone is always talking about pot heads this and pot heads that, and pot smell, blah blah blah. Every single experience I've had with "potheads" or actually smelling pot in public, has been long before it was legal here. Granted I don't go out to bars anymore, but I still drive all over the metro area nearly every day and haven't seen any differences other than pot stores, which I'd take any day over check cashing and other money services stores.

Just drive down I-70 between Colorado Blvd and Quebec. You'll get a snoot full of dope smell. And now they're closing the Safeway Bakery so even that won't cover it up.
