We now offer Dueling Tree's!

Specs:
6 paddle
Available with 1/4" AR500 or 3/8"AR550 paddles
Comes with base
Only $250 for 3/8". $200 for 1/4".
63804
63803

I forgot to mention that the paddles for the trees are interchangeable. We wanted our trees to be simple and modular. So the 1/4" paddles from our lite tree will work on a heavy tree and vice versa the 3/8" paddles from our heavy tree will work on the lite tree!

For those unfamiliar with AR500 thickness ratings, is this only suitable for .22lr, or could one use handgun calibers as well?

So where do we get one?

You can place an order directly with me. I make delivery runs down towards Denver at least once a month. Or you can visit one of our dealers and see if they have any in stock.

If you want to order one directly, send me an email at austin@aatargets.com

We look forward to earning your business!

Both our Heavy and Light Tree's are suitable for handgun calibers. The (lite) 1/4" AR500 tree is a little better suited for smaller handgun calibers. The plates swing more reliably with a single hit on these thinner plates. On our (heavy) 3/8" AR550 tree, this works well with all handgun calibers including magnums. (on the smaller calibers, they may not always swing the plates with a single hit) We also have a lot of customers who use these with center fire rifles with great results! (The plates hold up great!)

When you you say smaller Calipers, .22 small or is 9mm gonna struggle to swing them as well?

A .22 is gonna struggle to swing either tree. (Rim fire plates will be coming the near future!) On our lite tree a 9mm will work great! (9mm, .380, 38sp. to name a few work great on the lite tree) On the heavy tree it will still work good, it just might not always be able to swing the flapper with a single hit. It depends on the distance, ammo, fps etc.

We are still finalizing some things, so I cannot say yet. I will post up when it is official!

Also if you have a favorite shop down in the Metro area, we would love to hear who they are. We are working to pick up several dealers down there!

My favorite shops are Ark Tactical in Lakewood and Bristlecone in Lakewood. I also have heard nothing but fantastic things about Damage Factory.

The 3/8's trees can be shot with any rifle using conventional lead/copper bullet with a muzzle velocity of 3100 and below from a 100yrds. They will take most handgun calibers from much closer. It takes a larger pistol caliber to be able to swing the plates reliably. 40's, 45's etc.

Is this something that could be pounded into the ground and just left outside, or do you recommend bringing them in?

You could definitely pound some stakes into the base and leave it outside if you want. Eventually from the splatter from impacts wearing some paint off, you will get some rust. It breaks down pretty easy, so if theft is a concern it wouldn't be hard for someone to break it apart and take off with it.

Leaving the base is a decent idea, thanks.

None currently have them in stock. We are working with Ark Tactical about possibly having some there.

I could meet you down there (metro area) tomorrow evening if you'd like. I'll be down that way on some deliveries.
