We had a whiteout for about 20 minutes. The the sun came out with a blue sky. No snow that stayed on the ground.

Yeah about that to 14 inches here. Oh wait, I live 3 blks East of you.

Just got a snow blower today. Used it once already (6"-8"). Have as much or more on the ground again.. I hate snow but love not having to go into work.

I shoveled my driveway the times today, and my neighbor brought his snow blower in there once while I was out. All for it to really start snowing now.

Four inches at sunset but started coming down much heavier after dark. Looks like six or seven now and the wind is coming up. Highway 94 just closed which is my only way out.

Somewhere around 18-20 inches here. About twice as much as it's snowed in the 14 years I've lived here. [Shock]

Getting pretty blustery looking outside. I'd call it blizzardy if the wind was blowing harder. Roads are going to be terrible in the morning. Hope they cancel school.

Just got finished with 4 hours of plowing. 14"-16" on the ground. Easily 5" since 7:00pm. Looks like I'll be behind the plow tomorrow morning too.

No clue, wind is blowing hard(30+ mph) and has been since 5PM yesterday. With the size/depth of the drifts, 8"+. Several drifts over 30 inches deep. Back door of house buried, shop door buried, vehicles snowed in. Beautiful albino moonscape.

Checked CDOT website, snow day for us(at least the morning). I76 and I70 are closed from just east of Denver to Nebraska and Kansas. Our little state highway will get little attention until the interstate is open.

Woke up to maybe seven or eight inches here. Hopefully it melts off the driveway before I get home from work or I'll have to break out the shovel.

Yep. It looks like this. The Hospital says ME only and that is me but they have not plowed the street and even if I clear out everything the car would be a snow plow. The path that was cleared in the pics is filled back in. http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac44/jerrymrc/IMG_0168_zps0m2gt1sw.jpg (http://s884.photobucket.com/user/jerrymrc/media/IMG_0168_zps0m2gt1sw.jpg.html)http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac44/jerrymrc/IMG_0171_zpsppvlnftq.jpg (http://s884.photobucket.com/user/jerrymrc/media/IMG_0171_zpsppvlnftq.jpg.html)http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac44/jerrymrc/IMG_0172_zpsqtccegkz.jpg (http://s884.photobucket.com/user/jerrymrc/media/IMG_0172_zpsqtccegkz.jpg.html)http://i884.photobucket.com/albums/ac44/jerrymrc/IMG_0175_zpsabu7vtbr.jpg (http://s884.photobucket.com/user/jerrymrc/media/IMG_0175_zpsabu7vtbr.jpg.html)

Gauging by the top of my neighbors picnic table, I'd say ot looks like about 14"-15" here.

ETA: Just looked out the window. What I thought was just blowing snow is only partially true, it's still snowing here.

exactly.

I have no idea. its stil blowing. I cant plow, because if I do, the drifts will be twice as bad. As soon as you plow you cause ridges which then drift even more. I doubt
I can get the tractor out of the barn without using the 4wheeler to plow around the front.

Last week we were finally able to see the ground again after the last 6 weeks of no melting. dang.

14 to 16 inch's out east here. Drifts up to OMG.

Wind was out of east/northeast yesterday evening, I moved a couple vehicles around to funnel/block drifts from doors and sidewalks, wind changed to north/northwest over night. Blew right into sidewalks and across back door to house and shop door.[dig][fail][Bang] Should have just left it alone.

I've been telling people $10 for sidewalk, $20 for sidewalks and drive, and $30 for a corner lot. People have been balking. Doesn't seem unreasonable to me, especially today.

02-02-2016, 11:59
If you were in castle rock I'd pay you that to do mine. Its not hard, I just fee lazy today.

Same here. No snow. Currently 44 deg and partly sunny on the way to 55 deg this afternoon.

The Severe Mild Weather Warning is in effect for at least the next two weeks.

Got two shoveling jobs in the same neighborhood; Lambertson Lakes area. I don't think I've ever worked so hard for money before. I should have charged more for that lake effect snow they get there.

I think we're in the 17-20" range. Probably the same amount we had right before Thanksgiving, but more spread out. In that storm, I went to be with some snow falling and woke up with massive drifts everywhere. I'm plowing my driveway about every 12 hours for this one.

Northern edge of Briargate here. I think I had anywhere from a foot to a foot and a half depending on where I measured. Shoveled 4 times, you couldn't tell I'd done anything on the second and third times.
