I'm getting a bone graft to fix some long-term issues with my jaw bone tomorrow. If you're the praying type, I'd appreciate your prayers. Thanks gang! [Awesom]

You got it brother.
What caused it? Too much jabberjawin' when you were a Lt?
It'll go without a hitch and you'll be back to annoying your wife in no time.
Anything else we can do for you?

Probably. Mrs HB always rags on me for not working out enough, so I always offer to work my jaw more... [LOL]

I should be 90% in 3 days, and 100% in 5 months if it works. Mother in Law flew out here to "help", so I'll mostly be avoiding her by sleeping or getting out of the house if I feel good enough. That's why I'm asking for prayers! [ROFL1]
Always love when mother in law comes out to help...ugh
Prayers to you good Sir

Good luck bro!
Wish you all the best Dave.
Do you get a shaving profile with that?
Good luck tomorrow bro, not the praying type, but i am sending you postive vibes and well wishes.

Are you kidding me?! I can go 3 days without shaving and nobody would notice! [LOL]
I hope the experience goes as smoothly as possible for you.
You'll be fine. Prayers your way.

Perfect time to visit my nephew at the bar.

True, even if you got a permanant shaving profile, it would be a moot point...[ROFL2]

Hope everything went well. They gonna wire your jaw shut? I had to have that done in 2009 after an unfortunate bicycle accident (showing off for my 7 year old grandson.) Wouldn't wish it on anybody, but hope for a full and speedy recovery!

My prayers are definitely with you. I just had my mother-in-law here for over 3 weeks. Go with God Dave. Oh and I am sure your jaw will be fine! [Beer]

Thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts. Minor complication during the op, but all is well and I'm back home with Percoset. Yee haw.
Good luck, it's always an adventure going under the knife.
Glad to see you're alive and kickin' after your procedure. Bone work can be pretty painful (ice was my friend). Get some rest and heal up quick!

Not as good as I had hoped, but it does help with the constant dull pain. I'm mostly taking Vitamin M in the form of 800mg horse pills.
Thank you again, everyone, for the good thoughts and prayers.

Thanks again, everyone. It wasn't exactly a major surgery (by any stretch of the imagination), but it's a huge pain in the rear. One side of my jaw got infected, so now I'm dealing with that. I probably won't be back to work for at least another week. Worst part is that I basically can't eat anything harder than overcooked spaghetti. I'm getting sick of drinking my meals. Superbowl party is going to kind of suck. [Dunno]

Bottle of Vodka and a straw and you'll have a great Super Bowl.
HoneyBadger- just had a surgery on Thursday. Still recovering as well. Doing much better today than the last 2 days. Hang in there brotha

That should keep the infection out of the wound, right? [Abused]
