Looks interesting, though pricey for the 7.62 version.
Sorry, I don't know how to embed on a tablet.

Amazing new approach that makes so much sense.
Looks like a nice option!

Nice, but looks extremely expensive to manufacture.

Couldn't be more than a transmission, and you'd probably still have people buying them. Just not nearly as many.
Been looking at them for a while... I like.. I just... want... bad.. no.. stop...

Evolution
Evolution
Think about how far suppression would have evolved if the NFA didn't exist, they would have been working on new ideas since 1934. ...and some people think more government regulation is a good thing

I've been very interested in these for awhile. There's a thread on fnforum that a fella hasn't had the best of luck with either the suppressor or their customer service.
I think the OSS system is on Gen 5 in two years. That's paying a handsome price to be a part of the dev team.
They had a setup at the SHOT live fire event and I haven't heard anything yet.
I will get one eventually if they get all the kinks worked out, but until then I'm satisfied being baffled. There's an interesting thermal video they have.
Heavy and loud.
Cool technology though.
I think it's great when anyone really tries something revolutionary. That being said, the hype has been huge, and the product hasn't lived up to it yet. For whatever reason, SHOT maybe, marketing has ramped up in the last few weeks with all the videos out there, too. I'm sure he'll sell more just on the idea and the hype, but I'm still waiting on some better reviews.
Kinda reminds me of the marketing Mark Larue did with his new can. It's heavy and only so-so from a suppression standpoint, so he's marketing how it was designed to be all about back pressure for "operators".
Either way, it's great to be right in the middle of the suppressor renaissance. Tons of great ideas and great products coming out.

With 41P no longer requiring CLEO after 7/16. IMO, Look for that renaissance to really take off.
Russ Oliver resigned

LOL now that's a letter. "Oh and hey by the way, here's my new company, purely by accident, it's also called OSS."
Well that's awkward. I love how in his resignation letter he's speaking for other (presumably current) employees of OSS:
"In addition to myself, over a dozen other primary and essential team members feel the same and have and will be leaving the company as soon as they are able."
"Myself individually and as a group profoundly disagree and are unable to place our names and reputations upon the new managements business practices..."
"In our opinion and interpretation, the “new” OSS Philosophies include..."

I respect Russ for what he's doing, at least at face value. Tim was throwing a fit, but I bought one of his cans anyway though didn't I...? I'm a sucker for a cheap thrill.
There's still too many "red strings" going around the suppressor market these days. With SiShop, SiCo and now Dead Air, everyone needs to loosen their britches a little bit.

Word to the wise.
AVOID suppressor Group Buys.
From Gods Lips, To your ears. [LOL]
And here I was thinking of offering a SiCo group buy in March... ;)

That's like leaving an open bottle of Makers in front of me and telling me not to drink any!
Out of curiosity, why do you say that?

I'd tell him. But I don't want people thinking he was part of any high post count clique

Looks like I'm going to have to start posting one letter at a time so I can get my super secret decoder ring... LOL
And thanks crays, it's been awhile since anyone accused me of being youthful. Immature yes, youthful no.
