Its on Fox right now.
Looks like my guns really weren't a threat to him.
Other than that RIP, my heart goes out to the family.
He was the last of a legacy.
Althought he is (D), RIP.
I wonder who will replace his spot. Long shot, but hopefully republican. :)
His car has still killed more people than my guns. I hope they rename a bridge after him.

+2. My mother died of brain cancer, so I'm compassionate about that - but this drunk idiot was not just a pimple but a massive boil on the ass of America and, IMHO, couldn't wait to see America fail.
Its an awful day for his family but a good day for America.

I know most are too young to remember the story, but you really should look it up. He is soooo full of shit. He left the scene to get his brothers' help........didn't report it until the next day. Shows what the Kennedy name can do....

He had to sober up. Since he was born with a free pass and his dad just had a stroke and couldn't hide the body for him, his punishment was looseing and chance at the presidency and forced to work out of the senate forever.
Some people have it so rough. But death comes to us all and he couldn't buy his way out of that.

I'm shocked that you all feel this way. The man died relatively peacefully @ home when someone should have taken him out and drowned his murdering @$$ years ago. While I'm sure that the brain cancer was very painful for him, I don't think it was enough pain for this dirtbag to experience after what he has gotten away with over the years. In all actuality, I agree with every one of your comments above that lambast this man.
I have no compassion for the family either. This family raised and supported this dirtbag and another dirtbag rapist as well. They all put themselves about the rest of us and looked down on those of us who didn't get everything handed to them. I spit on his corpse and his family. I'm highly offended that he gets to be buried in Arlington National Cemetery - where my maternal grandfather EARNED the right to be buried (and IS). Arlington is for heroes. Teddy Kennedy is certainly NO hero.

Funny story, that. As I understand the whole story, in 2004 when Mitt Romney, a Republican, was Governor of MA, the MA legislature took the governor's ability to appoint a successor to a congressional vacancy away - due to fears that something would happen (whether it be Kerry getting elected Prez or Kennedy dying) and Romney would appoint a Repub [wow, was that a run-on sentence, or what?!]. Now, when they knew Kennedy's time was short and a Dem is the Gov, they wanted to give the duty back to the Gov. Talk about manipulating the system!

Foxtrot, it makes me feel a little better. Think of all the anti-civil rights laws that are going to brought up in his name? I hear the Health law is going to be changed to Kennedy Health Scare law.
But if there is any good that going to come from his life and death I will support it. But then again I have to think its a good idea and not just be told so.
Normally, I would agree with You Foxtrot... This however, is the exception.. I hope that SOB suffered and continues to suffer For what He did to that Girl..
If Kennedy had any redeeming qualities, I've yet to hear them. Chappaquiddick should have put him in prison and most certainly out of politics, but here we are. Good riddance to that sorry SOB.

This guy wasn't a good man that had one mistake at chappaquiddick, he was a drunk, womanizing, corrupt liar his whole life. As Marlin said, normally I would agree with you, but ted was a special breed of asshole.
I hope he spends eternity alternating between staring into the window of a bar he can never enter full of free flowing drinks and beautiful scantily clad women, and being stuck in the trunk of a car watching the water rise until it finally drowns him.

Oh Rampart, that was priceless.
Someone told me on another forum that he was the greatest thing since pull top whiskey bottles. I had to call them a liar. He wasted any gifts that he was given. I want to run for office and I will show his them what someone from the gutter can do. They will spend years trying to get back the power that I give back to the people.
