-Just wanted to prequel this with we wanted a local match that was cheap, not 100% prone inside 500yds, and will be 100% payback minus insurance/lawyer bs/and new steel targets (one stage alone has $400 worth of steel...my steel [panic]) This wont be monthly, but 2-4 times a year. We don't care if we get 10 people or fill up. We charging 50 in case we cant cover the fees and only 10 people show up (nothing will be taken first time for steel/straps/bolts/etc we bought if match don't fill.) This match will be 90% PRS inspired stages with a spinner, KYL rack, troops, barricades, and other fun stuff we can think of like a bucket. Yes a 5 gal bucket (thanks OK matches lol).

-We are even lucky enough to have had a couple major sponsors step up and offer to put stuff on the table and we didn't even ask. Very cool. (Burris, Short Action Precision so far so that's awesome)

-As we want even beginners to show up, we will probably raffle off all prizes other than the cash and try to pay at least the top 3 with the top 5 if the match fills. More shooters = more payback.

***As I am helping with stage design and using my steel for this (I wont actually shoot or see any stages till day of as the match is too far away - Justin is doing all the hard work, I get to recruit) and we did this to have fun, any prize I win, I will donate to a charity of my choosing. We arnt putting this on to make money. There is no way im not shooting and giving the rooks **ahem Kevin** the opportunity to best me. If this bothers you, don't show up. We wont miss you....and im not really that good lol.
Good attitudes only .[Coffee]

-SO....sign up on link below and once accepted, you will get payment info. Good luck!

-any rifle 30 cal and under 3200 fps. All yardages will be known out to 1200 max. Gaming is encouraged. Fun is required.

-We have 10 signed up already with a strong OK contingent more than likely coming up. Its tough getting a match in that doesn't step on any toes of other matches. If you delay you may not get in. I know its week after Raton, but every week till end of may is filled up.

LAST but not least, if you know anyone that wants to go but doesn't have the proper equipment, I have a spare 6x47 and a 223AI and gear I will let them use. I know some others that have spare rifles also **ahem RJ**. We want to get new shooters involved, we have to be willing to help them.

50 TOTAL SLOTS WILL BE AVAILABLE!
We did a bunch of planning and target location scouting yesterday. We have come up with 10 stages that should be fun and challenging for most of you.
The entry fee for this match will be $50. We will have cash given back to top placers, and possible some prizes for the prize table. I think this is going to be a really fun match for you PRS guys, as well as you new shooters.
If you are a new shooter, you will get more than $50 worth in what you learn from these other seasoned shooters. I will do my best to get the less experienced guys in squads with more experienced guys.
So here's the breakdown:
WHEN: March 12th, 2016. We are trying for an 0800 start time. There will be a 100 yard range with paper for you to verify zero before start time if you require it.
WHERE: South of Holly, Colorado, just off highway 89. The actual address for the match is 12600 County Road 33 Holly, CO 81047. I should be able to get a sign on the highway the day of the match, and its really easy to get to the staging area.
DETAILS: $50.00 registration fee. 100 round minimum, 10 rounds per stage, 10 stages, bring extra if you need to check zero, or for other situations like bad primers or brass that wont chamber-you name it. What you have extra is up to you. This is tactical/practical, so you probably are not going to need super fancy stuff like a tripod, but you will want your shooting bags etc as there will be prone stages, movement, and shooting from barricades. Make sure you have a sling for carrying your rifle and for support while shooting if you like.
This is the link to register. If you are not already registered with practiscore, you must register with them to be in the system. Its free and easy. Then you can register and pay. I left the option for you to be able to pay in cash at the match on the day of, but I REALLY prefer you pay now so I can cover administrative fees.

Feel free to reply to this post if you are planning on attending. We did our best to pick a day that would work for as many people as possible, especially competitive shooters who are on a tight schedule/circuit.
Let me know if you have any questions.
ACCOMMODATIONS: There is a very nice motel here in Holly that is new, clean, and fairly priced. If you are coming the night before, you may want to book as soon as you can. It is called Miles Court. Here is a link. http://www.milescourt.com/information (http://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.milescourt.com%2Finformat ion&h=OAQHfWXSGAQEkOLxCXY49LyNAzoULSfuJcC082V3tEXZPVw&enc=AZOGM1RVtaXK8bQJYa-NJvAAUgJX32Muh1aPVMO0a5hX8IKcuZsiNNR_3j698eshbYMMI bpx-KOmfmFdE_P8o3v0bD-tDTafjF8FqmzjuzQhRpr1KXK7xSB-8uKNMY3A6rWzi17xj3hg4dwXCw8LJlOKw_4akKT6ZQ9zXQnROU CZYg&s=1)
There is another Hotel in downtown across the street from my apartment. I dont really know the correct name of it, and they dont have someone inside all the time since its a small town. I will get the number and post it. I hear the rooms are ok, but wont be as good as Miles Court. I'll post the number when I get it.
Also, the only place in this town to eat during the afternoon/evening is Porky's Parlor. Its basically burgers and fries in a basket kind of place. Its decent food, but a little on the high side. You city guys may be used to the pricing haha. There is also a new grocery store here called Reyman's. They close at 7pm and are open all day Saturday.
And of course there is a convenience store here that has the usual stuff like pizza and a Subway inside.

Great news Dorgan. Thanks for putting this together.

Let me see if I can work my schedule with Uncle Sam so I can be there.

If a new shooter needs it, I will bring my 223 trainer, Barnes Match Burner ammo, good data, an Atlas bipod, a Short Action Precision Sling, a Burris XTR2 scope, a couple mags, and a couple rear bags for them to use. Post here if you need it. RJ
