I cant find a DPMS 308 vise block in stock any where. I have a build that I need to get done in the near future for work/ classes once I get all the parts delivered. I know its a stretch, but I figured I would see if anyone has one that would loan it to me once I have the parts?

PRI Vise Block is in stock. http://www.precisionreflex.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=186606&CAT=4215
I have one you can use in Longmont, not ideal I know, but I also have a vise.

With the torque required for an AR10 barrel nut (50 ft/lbs min, 90 ft/lbs max) holding with a vise block the holds by the takedown pin bosses isn't the best plan.
A clamshell is only marginally better.
A Geissle Reaction Rod is ideal but lacking that two stout wooden blocks relieved to the barrel profile in a hydraulic press or a very stout vise will do well.

Well I can't do the PRI vice block since it will void the mega warranty.

This one worked great for me.

Used the AR 15 version on a build. Does what it is supposed to.

You can take the above tool and grind flats on it or add a 1/2" piece of square bar stock to the wrench hole, and have a decent tool without spending the $$$ that Geissele gets.
