Fake cops busted

This morning a Denver officer on routine patrol in district 4 near Jason and S. Platte spotted a vehicle matching the description of the fake cops that have been running around the past couple of weeks. He pulled the vehicle over, a maroon Ford Crown Vic with led lights in the back window and an antennae on the rear deck. 2 people wearing security guard uniforms and one matching the description of one of the men who beat and robbed an individual they pulled over in north Denver, were taken from the vehicle. No arrests at this time.

The car was set-up with red and blue lights in the front and rear as well as a siren. It'll be interesting to see how this shakes out.

I know everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty and I t may rub some the wrong way but I like this reporter. I'm tired of articles filled with alleged and suspected blah blah blah.

One would think they could tell the difference between a security guard and police uniform. If this isn't them, I hope the police find them quickly.

but with all of this having been said, it’s obvious to this Reporter that these two were up to no good early this morning in Southwest Denver.
