Is there something wrong withG-Locks ? Other than that I don't like how they feel in my hands ?
Is there a major factory recall ?

I just noticed that 6 out of the first ten ads in the T.P. Are G-Locks, why are so many owners dumping them ?

I think they just take getting used to and a lot of practice to figure out. Sometimes I shoot great with mine, other times I'm pulling to the left and I can't stop it no matter what I try. Ah, I found a link where some guy put a stock G17 in a ransom rest. 3.122" group at 25 yards (outdoors, but reportably negligible wind): http://www.montac.com/glock/bullet%20jump/bulletjump_6.htm

I personally don't think that's bad for a mechanically awesome pistol for $500. I also think that's better than most handgun shooters are capable of by themselves, especially in a high-stress scenario. I think many Glock buyers are dismayed at their initial, or repeated (but still less than dedicated effort/time) performance, read about other users similar to them also not having godly accuracy, and then turn around and blame the tool. I know I'm tempted to do this with any gun when I'm having a bad day (that I had an awesome day with the month before).

Are they dumping them or are they selling to trade up to the new fancy schmancy Gen 4 or single stack 42/43 or red dot ready models?

To answer your question, absolutely nothing wrong with them (IMO). I've tried out just about every major brand of pistol with the exception of HK, and I'm a Glock guy. Now I can't speak for anyone else, but i'll go ahead and "justify" my for sale ad. Up until recently, the only pistol calibers I had on hand were 9mm and 45acp (both arguably the hardest to find when the political SHTF), I've been meaning to have another "3 in 1" Glock, and figured I'd make that happen before we get too deep into election season. So I've picked up a G33 and will purchase a G27 barrel and a 40-9 barrel for it. Unfortunately I have neither the time or the room to reload, but my dad reloads 40 so I'm good there, and I never had a problem finding 357 sig, even in the worst ammo drought. So to actually answer the question, I'm selling my G26 because that was what I promised my wife I'd do if I bought the G33.

Is Glock coming out with a new model or something? Don't think I've seen so many Glocks for sale in the TP in a long time.

I think that are just a bunch of them out there. Glocks are like 10-22's and SKS's, everyone has one or has had one. Or two, or three, or four ...

Glocks are usually a quick, easy sell. You can typically move them quickly and not lose much money on one. And, since they are all made in the same little cookie cutter mold and really aren't anything special, if you decide you miss the one you just sold it's pretty easy to replace it.

Glocks never need to be recalled. They only need to "upgrade" them.

I was thinking about getting another. My cousin called yesterday and wanted to know if I had a Glock for sale. Even though I still have 14, I told him none that I'm willing to part with unless it was an emergency. Every one of my used Glock sources don't have many either. And like Hurley said I like 40's just for there caliber versatility.

Lots of supply and a weak market has pushed prices down. I have four Glocks and my son has three, no duplication in models. We love them, although a very recently acquired H&K VP9 may become my favorite I still like my Glocks. It seems to me right now is a buying opportunity, I'd expect prices will rebound due to a number of events but most likely the elections later this year.

Not really any secret on the current market, but many of us just like to try here before going elsewhere. I actually can't remember the last time I made a firearm deal on here, normally end up going to Armslist or Facebook (before they banned sales). It's a tough crowd here, most don't want to deal with the hassle of the FFL requirement, even if it's a good deal. Oh well.

Yeah never had a problem with accuracy. I had some drift that I assumed was me at one point with my 17 and 34, sandbagged them and was cutting a 2inch hole at 25 yards. Needless to say I spent considerable more time working on finger/trigger alignments after that.

The G20 is very intriguing to me. That'd be the first Glock I'd own, but then again, any pistol chambered in 10mm gets my attention.

Lower cost pistols move quicker in the market. Many people don't need to budget and plan for a Glock 19 like they would for a Colt Delta Elite. There are also a lot of them around when compared to some of the more expensive options so it follows that the market would reflect that. Any surges in recent classifieds is likely due to recent surges in overall gun ownership.

That meme would be more funny if it were even remotely possible. I guess "hot car" could mean car engulfed in flames.

I own and love both.

Unless you make your living with your tools. For me, Snap on screwdrivers are worth every penny in time saved removing stripped screws. BTW, own several Glocks, and they are good quality tools. [Coffee]

I'm only selling mine because it has ".40 cal" stamped on the slide & my department won't authorize it for use off duty. I had it converted to 9mm with a lone wolf barrel. I would have liked to keep it, but can't justify buying another gun yet. So I have to replace t.

Suggest to your armorer and range masters that they should consider the move up to the +P+ 9mm, otherwise known as the .357 SIG. Simple barrel swap for the .40 S&W pistols [Coffee]

What's wrong with Glocks? Everything!
1. Glocks are made from the leftover plastic from manufacturing toothbrushes.
2. Gaston Glock was left handed. Everybody knows that left handed shooters tend to shoot high and right which is why all Glocks shoot low and left everybody knows that them Australians and left handed people are lazy.
3. They are exspensive, yet cheap to manufacture. It only costs the Glock factory $3.87 to produce each Glock handgun.
4. The French police issue Glocks.
5. It's an Australian designed handgun. Do you know who else is from Australia? That's right Adolf Hitler.
6. The only good model Glock is a Glock 40. But then Glock had had to screw it up and chamber their newest model Glock 40 in 10 caliber!
7. Glock don't work underwater!
8. Glocks have been used by ISIS!
9. They break ALL the time!
10. They have the same retarded grip angle as the German Luger pistol! Which basically means they're incredibly hard to hold.

So I have a standing policy where I will buy dissatisfied shooters used and extra Glocks for 3 whole dollars!
Hell that's almost enough to buy a footlong from Jared at Subway. And it's actually less than what it cost Glock to make those pistols.

I've slowly traded my old gen 3 for gen 4 only bc I like the gen4 grip texture. I would also like a New MOS but I didn't have money for the RMR,
so I'll keep my old beaters. I've own doubles if not triples of most numbers but I always sell my 26s bc they are too small. I'm not a big fan of the 43 but I'm going to keep it for the wife, otherwise I would have traded it for a gen4 26 long ago(yes, I don't like the size) but at least my larger glock 9mm mags fit it.

i buy a lot of glocks used bc I don't care if someone fired it 1k times. Lately, trying to trade a glock that's been fired 5k+ times is like pulling teeth, people think they are worn out.
