Did anyone check yet and see if they drew a tag?

Not sure if they released the draw results yet. But if it works like deer/elk does you can login and go to the Apply for Habitat and All other license area. You should see an Application with a 4XX number and if you actually drew you will see a 5XX number. If it works like other big game the 5XX number should mean you had a successful draw. I just logged in and I have a 5XX number for Turkey App so hoping that means I drew successful.

I have a 4XX number, and didn't expect to be able to draw the areas I put in for.
No draw for me...guess it's OTC and Nebraska and Kansas trips for me
I only applied for a preference point because I didn't think there were many turkeys on the ranch that I have permission to hunt on, then the last time I was there to call coyotes, I saw 4 toms together. Oh well, I'll have enough pp's to draw the tag next season without question. So for me, it's off to the family Ks. farm.

I got my tag in the mail. Of all the people I hunt with I was the only one to draw. Guess we should have put in as a big group... oh well.

I didn't even try. I hate being turned down by the state I pay taxes in. It's like being turned by my wife. [emoji22]

I will go OTC and head to Kansas also. I love giving my money to Kansas I can hunt public or stop when I see someone on there land and I have never been turned down to hunt turkey they love when we thin the heard of those damn dirty birds.
up and at em at 3:30 a.m. tomorrow to take my friend and his 15 y.o grandson, who has a tag for out east, out to try to put an arrow in a turkey. Got about 2 hour drive and should be set up in the blind before fly down. Hoping to watch this youngster stick his first archery turkey.
Good luck to those of you heading out too.

I was up early this morning. Feed the goats and donkey, chickens and duck. I took the kids for an a tv ride for a while. Then we decided to go out and unload T posts. It was a bad day for a tom to show up in the front yard. I went back in, got my bow, then realized I didnt have any broadbreast on the arrows. I had to open a package of Muzzy's and put one together and get it on the arrow. I went back outside and had to walk about 20 yards off the front porch. He isnt the biggest tom, but we are having him for dinner tonight. It also the first time in 2-3 years I have shot my bow. He was 19 lbs 2oz, 8 1/4" beard and 3/4" spurs on a Merriams.
we had success this morning as well. Youngster missed his first opportunity, but on our second set up, we got 3 toms called in and he managed to kill one of them. Didn't weigh the bird but had an 8" beard and maybe 1/2" spurs. Young man was a happy camper. Was great getting to help him and see him get his first archery turkey.

Got my turkey Saturday morning and cooked it Sunday. Perfect weekend!!! The Turkeys out East are not in full mating mode yet but he was interested enough to come look within shotgun range!
