Hey guys if anyone needs helping getting a turkey and knows where birds are but doesn't know how to call or doesn't have decoys or whatever let me know and I will come call and help you get a bird... By no means a pro but I have shot lots of turkey's... Mostly with a bow.. Couple with a gun! If you have a video camera I can also video.. Available on weekends! Forgot to put in for a tag this year and don't think I can afford a trip to michigan this year like I did last just for turkey's! But since I love hunting turkey's I figured I would help someone out!

if not feel free to ask me any questions.
thanks, Craig

Know of anywhere decent for OTC? My daughter is thinking she'd like to give it a try if her schedule permits. Last year she joined me for big game and now has the itch.

Hunter Hawk this is very nice of you to offer. I am interested in turkey hunting although I have never done so before. I am a little tentative as I have never seen a wild turkey while out and about in the CO woods and mountains. At this juncture I am looking for some basic "101" type info. I spoke to the game Managment office. They told me how the fall seasons work; Sept 1-Oct 1 West of i25, Sept 1- Oct 28 East of I25. For the fall season it sounds like there is really no restrictions on the method of take. I don't own a shotgun presently so I would use a rifle: what are you thoughts on the use of a rifle for turkey hunting? Lastly, as I mentioned I have never seen a wild turkey in CO. Can you suggest a GMU or general area for A) early fall and B) late fall.

I saw some just north of the Brighton Fairgrounds a couple weekends ago. I realize they're never around when you're hunting them, but I believe there are more around than we realize.

I usually get my turkey at King Soopers. Usually just before Thanksgiving.

Mine me too but they look at me funny when the shotgun goes off while I'm hiding in the ice cream freezer
