I've had this occur about a dozen times over the past year or two. This time I actually thought to take a screenshot of it:

1. I'm using Chrome on Windows 7.

2. This time it occurred when I use the browser's back button, but I think other times it has occurred when just hitting the reply button which opens up the reply dialogue.

Have you seen Inception? This is like forum-ception. A forum within a forum.

No wonder you can never snipe a new page, your timing is way off!

Can't seem to replicate it by posting in the PWT and playing with the browser's back/forward buttons. weird.

So... this is interesting. I'm actually posting this from inside the reply window on another page. I'll post images in a minute to show it.

Lets see if I can embed a img link here from inside the reply window of the John Wick 2 thread...

Looks like it works. This is weird. And kind of funny. I'm really just playing around now.

LAY OFF OF THE CRACK - AND TELL WINDOWS 7 TO DO THE SAME!

I've got nuthin'. Intrigued, but nothing to offer to correct this. My guess is it has something to do with Chrome.

It's not really a problem... more like an Easter egg.

Some more notes:

1. It occurred when I hit "reply" on the first page of the John Wick 2 thread, which took me to the second page of the thread when my reply (with an embedded img) posted. I hit the browser's "back" button and the anomaly occurred.

2. From the browser window within the reply dialogue, I could navigate to any page within the domain:

3. Regular (java?) things still worked... hovering over a thread title showed the preview of the thread, but I couldn't get a screenshot of this due to the way snipping tool functions. Also, the right-click options still showed as normal from within the reply dialogue:

4. It appeared that I had full functionality of the webpage that loaded within the reply dialogue. I could scroll, hover over links (I think I already said that) and navigate through the ar-15.co domain flawlessly. Clicking on linked threads opened them up within the same window (the reply dialogue). Clicking on outside links (I tested this on a youtube link and a palmetto state armory link from the buyer intel thread) opened them up in a new tab in Chrome automatically and I could not navigate to them within the reply dialogue window.

One more confusing picture to sum things up:

I still can't seem to duplicate it on demand. Maybe something with my browser cache? At this point it's not really a problem that needs fixing, but more of a fun "bug".

If you have any requests, I can try some different things next time this happens.

Now that California has banned All the Things, this is all HB has left for obtaining his "gun fix" [Abused]

Just happened again for the first time since my last post. I'm now fairly convinced that it has something to do with browser caching or something similar. This time, it occurred after I accidentally closed the tab (I was reading through page 8 of the real estate thread in GD) and in Chrome, I opened a new tab and then went to [History] and then [Recently Closed Tabs] and selected the tab I had accidentally closed. It reloaded the page (even to the exact point I was previously reading) but also loaded a whole new ar-15.co page inside the reply box.

[Dunno]

Sounds like the site really burst your real-estate bubble...
