He's fast no doubt, but I wonder how his shot-placements are. Not trying to be snarky, but there's fast, then there's fast & effective (for the record, I'm inclined to believe that he's the latter). That's also Taran Butler's stomping grounds, right?

Regardless, *always* good to have a celebrity/public-figure on our side. Didn't know there was going to be a JW sequel, lookin' forward to it!

Given the dedication and training he puts into his craft I betcha he's pretty accurate. He's not a smooth as a pro shooter but give him some time.

Not sure how you sequel John Wick but I don't care, if it's anything like the firsts it's gonna kick arse.

Keanu Reeves has become one of my favorite actors. When "Street Kings" came out I really became a fan-not necessarily a great movie but I thought he did a really great job. "John Wick" rocked.

He's known for his generosity, frequently contributes his salary on films to the many low paid crew members. Is a big motorcycle enthusiast, has funded a new mc company and is involved in it's operations and product development.

I'd count him as one of the few big names in Hollywood I think it'd be fun to hang out with.

I really liked the first one, so here's to hoping a sequel will even come close.

I was impressed with Keanu's gun handling in Street Kings. I was really impressed with it in John Wick. Some of the best I have seen on screen from an actor. I too am looking forward to the sequal. I just hope they don't muck it up like most sequals.

I still can't take the guy seriously. Every time I see him all I can think about is "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure".

After watching the first season of "The Following" with Kevin Bacon, I'm really happy to see an actor that actually shoots.

John Wick already covered retention shooting pretty well, looks like the sequel will be getting into rifles.

He's probably had some of the best instructors teaching him technique and with all the movies he's handled a weapon I'm not too surprised that he's a good shooter, plus he has all the time and money to practice. He defiantly can run a weapon, wild stallion!

I've never seen Street Kings and looked to see if any online services have it available: Amazon is purchase only for $10 (dvd is cheaper) but if you have on-demand Cinemax (maxgo.com) with your cable package, it's available for streaming.

If it was your job and you could practice all day, any day you wanted, instead of going to a normal job, you would probably be pretty good too. Actors have time between gigs and get paid to train as part of filming.

Yes, that video's actually posted from that Taran Tactical youtube page.

I'm super jealous of that training facility.

Without doing any of my own research, it appears that he would be a big 2A advocate and he can obviously handle and manipulate the AR platform pretty well. We need more people to see this. Competition shooting is the gateway drug to EBRD (Evil Black Rifle Disease).

He's an actor. He's shooting because he has to for a movie. I don't think, from what I've read of him previously, he's a big pro-2A person. Not necessarily an anti, but this is work for him...not passion.

ETA: From http://www.theawl.com/2015/02/the-hollywood-gun-show

(Wick star Keanu Reeves has been diplomatic about guns, not making any grand statements, but nonetheless conceding he thinks carrying one is “not the wisest thing (http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/features/keanu-reeves-i-relish-being-an-antihero-808839.html).”)

He's not an 'insider' by any means.. do a bit of research on the man. Very charitable and humble. Strange yes.. but apparently very genuine.

Way to read in more than was written. I never said I sucked or anyone else was hopeless. Simply that any one of us would be better than we currently are if you could train all day every day. Sheesh.

I will take any and every opportunity to talk someone into engaging in competitive shooting; even if I have to make up the opportunity.

AND I do it in my spare time from my job as well.

Never had any use for Keanu as an actor but he has always taken a different path from other Hollywood stars and had excellent physical skills. This video shows he can handle 3-gun quite well -- doesn't mean he's a 2A advocate like Kurt Russell but I'll give him props for being able to hit what he's shooting at. Of course, we don't know how many times he's run that exact course -- repetition does a lot for muscle memory. [Coffee]

One of the things I enjoyed about John Wick, is that Keanu said "Enough." by speaking as little as possible. I think about half of his dialogue was in Russian. [Coffee]

From what I've read about Keanu Reeves life, he hasn't had it easy and he's not a Hollywood prima donna. He's also Canadian, so our Constitutional ways may not be as familiar to him.

You guys should look up the story on him from last year that CBS Sunday Morning did-yeah I know we all hate mainstream media blah blah blah-but it shows a glimpse of what kind of guy he is. Humble too.

There's lots of Hollywooders that ride, he's about the only one I'd like join for a run.

If you watch the video in high def, you can see a lot of Delta Delta shot placement on the targets, but no fliers from what I could tell. Definitely respectable shooting, that's for sure (not sure I could run it that fast).

LOVED the single shell reload, never seen a mounted shell holder like that before (now I want one).

You and me both. Not getting any younger, but after seeing how fast & accurate he is running those blasters...I know I should be able to perform quality hits at a much faster rate than I currently am. Gotta push that failure point.

Actually saw first John Wick film this week, and although I'm really not a Keanu Reeves fan, after seeing video of Reeves doing 3 Gun to train for John Wick 2, I'm probably going to see it this weekend.

Especially since Ian McShane is in the second picture too.

We'll be seeing it very soon- either John Wick 2, or Resident Evil: the Final Chapter. You know, for a Valentine's Day celebration. :)
