A good shoot.

A customer at a 7-Eleven store outside Seattle shot and killed a masked man who attacked a clerk with an ax early Sunday.
Investigators said the shooting happened at the store in White Center at approximately 5:45 a.m. local time. Witnesses said the man entered the store and swung a hatchet toward the customer before turning his attention to the clerk.

One of the "comments" Why don't they have a trap door. This way they hold the suspect till cops arrive. No one needs to be shot or killed" [dig]

Yeah, I saw that story ... bet Fox is the only major media outlet to carry it ...

Love it! You have to wonder how the man is handling it. Goes in everyday for a coffee (probably on his way to work an honest job) and has to put someone down. Shitty day.

Why can't they have both?

"The motive for the assault was not clear. Investigators said the ax-wielding man remained silent throughout the assault. The assailant's identity was not immediately revealed, and authorities described him only as a man in his 40s."

Some thoughts:

Why would we care about the motive for a man swinging an axe at people unless it was self-defense?
The ax-wielding man remained silent after the assault as well. He will now be silent for a very long time.
"Ax-wielding man" seems to be enough of an identity. I don't need anymore identity than that.
I would describe him as formerly in his 40's. He is now deceased...and the other people in the 7-11 are not. [Flower]

Be safe.

Sure makes center of mass shots easier.

Think they should add that stage to a match?

Irving

Only if they call it "The Hot Box," and the stage starts out with, "You are standing in your front yard when you smell marijuana..." and ends with, "...solve the problem."

cstone

That stage would stink.

Assailant has a "hatchet", so the media calls it an "axe". That sounds about right.

Hatchet is just a short handled axe. Don't you need a tax stamp for that?

Getting the gov involved with a stamp is axen for trouble. They might deem the axe to be a suppressed chainsaw.
